dirvish-checksum

This is s simple perl script that creates checksums (MD5 and SHA1) for dirvish. It is smart enough to check for hard links and re-use checksums from previous generations of the backup where hard links are detected, hence maintaining the same efficiency of dirvish it's self.

There are various options including --confg= which allows use where multiple configs are used on the same host. Also each checksum type may be disabled if you only want to use one. Both MD5SUMS and SHA1SUMS are created by default.

ping-monitor

This is s simple perl script that monitors a number of hosts and logs ping times (or NULL if they are not available) to csv files. It can also execute commands when hosts go up or down.

Squeezecentre IMMS Plugin

This is a plugin for Logitech / Slim Devices Squeezecentre 7 (AKA SC7) which provides a way to use IMMS on Squeezebox network music players. For more information see my latest blog entry on the Squeezecentre IMMS Plugin.
